'Peggy Bawn' was designed by George Lennox Watson of Glasgow, Scotland and built by John Hilditch of Carrickefergus, County Antrim, in 1894. Following extensive restoration, she was relaunched in 2005 to cruise the Celtic Seas and beyond once more.
