2nd April – 15th October 2026: Thursdays
On Thursday afternoons/evenings the gaffer fleet meets in Cardiff Bay for an informal sail followed by drinks and a meal in the Cardiff Bay Yacht Club Bar for those who wish. The evening is hosted and organised by the Gaffers Section of Cardiff Bay Yacht Club, but is open to all OGA members. Sailing is from 16:00 and includes self-timed circuits of the Bay. Skippers log their times for a summer series, with trophies awarded at a special dinner in the club held in December. Visitors are welcome and should contact Roger Wallington for details of registration, launching etc. 
Suitable for small/trailerable boats.
