The DBOGA Flotsam & Jetsam WhatsApp community has proved to be a real success. A band of very energetic and committed members have read, analysed and discussed Ulysses daily on WhatsApp over the past 3 months, and will complete it this week. They have enjoyed it immensely and feel very enriched by the experience.

Congratulations to them all on a fantastic achievement and very special thanks to Darryl Hughes who helmed and motivated the crew through this odyssey.

Not pausing to take a breath the group has come up with a passage plan for upcoming works. Falconer's Shipwreck will be discussed starting on Thursday 8th October, followed by Eliot's The Lovesong of J Alfred Prufrock and The Waste Land and then Joyce'sDubliners. Now would be the perfect time to get involved if you have not previously been and new participants would be most warmly welcomed (all welcome, not just Dublin Bay members).
