East Coast OGA Committee - Shared Files
The EC Committee use Cloud file storage to collaborate on and archive files and data related to management of the organisation.
The files are stored on OneDrive within a Microsoft account under email ecoga_librarian@outlook.com (NOT USED FOR EMAIL)
All Committee members are given access to the OneDrive folders via their personal Microsoft accounts to ensure appropriate control of personal and non-personal data. (Assistance can be given if individuals do not have a Microsft account.)
Where appropriate individual folders or files can be opened up for wider access. For instance an Event Risk Assessment can be assigned 'Public' access avoiding the need for multiple copies or email attachments.
As of July 2024 this approach is still being developed. Committee members are asked to provide feedback on the approach and the folder structure to ensure that it works for them and the organisation. The current structure, shown below, is a starter for ten.
