BBQ!

An exciting BBQ on 26th June has been arranged to view the 'Pride of Liverpool' project on the banks of the River Douglas.  Venue: Douglas House, The Old Boatyard, Tarleton, Lancashire PR4 6BA.  This project is to restore a gaff rigged vessel for use by members of the Nobby Owners. It's been a long time since we could all get together. The date has been chosen to comply with Covid-19 regulations.  It would be great to see as many faces as possible at this first social event in 2021.

Places are already being booked (some 50 plus) as you receive this missive. A good possibility that live music will be available as well as a marquee.   John & Gail Hodson are hosting the BBQ and need to know the numbers for the catering. Tel: 01772 815223 or email hodbox@btinternet.com.  For those who like to camp, provision has been made to pitch your tent, just bring your breakfast and refreshment. Please come and join in the 'fun' and lets get together after the long time that we have been unable to socialise.

Barts Bash!

11th & 12th September

This annual flagship event, connecting sailing communities all over the world is lots of fun. Inspired by the memory of Olympic Gold and Silver medallist Andrew ‘Bart’ Simpson MBE, who passionately believed that everyone should have the chance to try sailing and enjoy the many benefits that it brings.
