The 2022 Scottish Area AGM was held on 28th January. Gordon Garman has been Scottish President for many years but indicated earlier last year that he wanted to stand down. Julian Cable was proposed as documented in Gaffers Log and was duly elected at the meeting. As the Scottish Area secretary Jon Reid is currently indisposed, Alison Cable agreed to support the Scottish Area in addition to her main responsibilities as OGA 60 coordinator.

Alison and Julian continue to support the OGA as Boat Register Editors.

The meeting was joined by Robert and Lorna Hill, East Coast President and secretary, who awarded Alison & Julian with the Frances B Cook Trophy - the East Coast Area award for the best log or blog of the year.
