Buckler's Hard – join us for an informal gathering Sunday 13 September- Monday 14 September 2020
This a late season opportunity to meet up with friends in the beautiful Beaulieu River and enjoy what the area has to offer. We have reserved berths at Buckler's Hard, on the new “Visitor’s Pontoon South” (adjacent to the fuel berth), for the night of Sunday 13th Sept, arriving after lunch and departing during the morning of Monday 14 Sept. If you want to join in, but are not able to come by sea, please feel free to drive down. There is generally plenty of parking.
There are no formal or organised events, but that gives plenty of time for gaffer socialising - at a safe distance please. If you want more, there are lovely riverside walks and the maritime museum and other attractions are open 10.00-1700. If you want to eat ashore, the Master Builder’s is open, but you should probably book in advance. See https://www.hillbrookehotels.co.uk/the-master-builders/ for details. The Captain’s Cabin tearoom is also open during the day, with a restricted menu. Note that marina toilets etc. are open between 0700 and 1900 only. For more information about the marina and things to do locally, go to https://www.beaulieuriver.co.uk/ or to https://www.bucklershard.co.uk/.
We would be delighted if you would come and join us. Simply click HERE To register and to reserve your berth, no later than Wed 2nd September. We will pass details of registered boats to the marina, but - PLEASE NOTE - you must contact them directly (01590 616200) no later than 6 September, to pay for your berth and reserve your place on the pontoon. When you do, you should receive a 10% rally discount.
We look forward to seeing you!
