Solent Gaffers Visit to the D Day Museum at Southsea.

On 15 March, 7 Gaffers braved the dangers of the world and enjoyed a visit to the D Day Museum (and its café)  There was a lot to see, with excellent audio visuals adding understanding to the wide range of artefacts on display.  In addition, there was the amazing D Day tapestry, hand crafted in the 1970s, and taking its inspiration from the Bayeux tapestry.”
