The edit form has all the fields needed to calculate the OGA’s TH(C)F handicap. The handicap part of the form has been designed to show the working, so as you step through the form it shows all the sub-components of the calculation.

 

Once the OGA handicap has been entered, you will be asked if you also want to add:

1. the additional fields the East Coast use for downwind sails.
2. displacement data to allow the Solent Rating to be calculated.

 

Anyone can use this form, and it will give the answer without submitting the form, so it can be used to work out the handicap for any boat. You can even use it to see what effect increasing the size of your mainsail would be.

 

If you want the official handicap for your boat updated, you must actually submit the form!
