Ownership data for boats can be provided by anyone. You can either just send it to us in an email or use the form on the website

We store ownership data in two different ways. Ownership by non-members (including historic membership) is stored as the name of the person. We don’t hold any other personal data about non-members so we can treat names as not personal data.

Ownership by members is held as the membership number and, for family members by another id to distinguish between individuals within a membership.

As a logged-in member you can look at the owners tab of a boat you own and check if your name is there and the details are correct.

If they are wrong, fill in the form or email us and we will check and correct it. If you fill in the form, this won’t update the register directly. It all comes to the boat register editors for checking. So you can just try things out and we will get in touch with you to check.
