Round Britain Cruise RBC60
We want everyone to be able to feel a part of OGA60, whether you have a small boat, a big boat or no boat at all.
We are taking registrations for the Round Britain Cruise and skippers will be encouraged to offer crewing spaces on one or more legs of the trip.
If you would like to crew on one of the boats you will be able to see the opportunities offered and let skippers know you are available. If you want to discuss this before we have the forms available, just email oga60@oga.org.uk.
You can register your gaffer or register for crew places below.

Round Britain Challenge - 2013
In 2013 a fleet of boats set off around the UK and Ireland to celebrate OGA50. Three boats left the East Coast in April, and by the time they reached the Solent (for the second time) in August over 200 boats had taken part in some part of the challenge and assembled for a big party at Cowes.
Schedule
The fleet will begin to gather at Ramsgate on 27th April. This is a Port of Entry, making it easy for our overseas boats to join the cruise, and a place that East Coast boats which are circumnavigating can assemble. So long as the weather allows the fleet will depart Ramsgate on Monday 1st May at high water (10 am) and set off towards the Solent.
There is plenty to entertain the crews in Ramsgate, a i If you want to explore the area in your yacht there will be a chance of a cruise in company to the Port of Sandwich. Having a local skipper to give advice about the latest pilotage for this trip is a reassuring idea. The first social event of the cruise is a communal meal, to give the crews a chance to meet each other and exchange plans,
Next stop is Cowes IOW, using Shepards Wharf marina. The Coronation of Charles III will take place this weekend, and there may well be firewords. The OGA party expects to have the iconic Jolie Brise in attendance and there will be a meal in company and music to enjoy. The fleet then heads for Pymouth, with a planned arival on 10-12 May, a Wednesday and Thursday. That gives ten days to get round Land's End and arrive in Neyland Marina in Milford Haven for a party on 20-21 May.
Dublin Bay will be hosting a party for us the following weekend, but then the Challenge of getting round the UK turns into a Cruise on the scenic West Coast. The Scottish Area will host a party on 17-18 June, at Kerrera Marina, Oban. This should given enough time for all the boats to get there, wheher they book a passage through the Crinan Canal or go round the outside of the Mull of Kintyre.
At this point the fleet will probably split to go through the Caledonian Canal or "round the top", before rejoining to travel down the East Coast towards the Jubilee party on the River Orwell. There are also Party events on the East Coast of Scotland and Blyth in Northumberland on the way.
If you would like to join in the whole or any part of the circumnavigation, then please sign up on the RBC60 Registration page. If you own a boat you might use please check the Boat Register to see if she is on there, and add her if not, as this will make it easier to keep track of the boats taking part. If you are just thinking of going to the final Jubilee Party on the Orwell then have a look at the OGA60 page to sign up.
