Finishing the hull

The hull is sanded and then given two coats of epoxy all over before the final finishing stages.

The first coat of epoxy is a thin coat again using a plastic scraper.

Fill any imperfections visible at this stage. Once the first primer coat is on it will be easier to see any fianl areas that need filling.

A second coat of epoxy and then a base coat of epoxy primer was used on the prototype to give a good bond for the finishing paint.
